Peg T-Mobile as the latest carrier to offer the Kyocera DuraForce PRO. The phone had been available on Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon for quite some time now, but T-Mobile is late to the party.
That’s OK, though, because T-Mobile faithful who really want a nice rugged phone shouldn’t look much further than this thing. It’s a tanky MIL-STD 810G device with IP68 water and dust resistance, so it can take quite the beating if it must.
The DuraForce PRO’s standout feature is its secondary Super Wide View HD action camera on the rear, alongside its standard 13MP shooter. It’s like your phone doubles as a GoPro camera, especially since it has the necssary hooks to be mounted to your bikes and helmets and such.
Other features include a 5MP front camera, octa-core chipset, 4G LTE, and a fingerprint sensor. You’ll be able to pick it up for $425 outright, which is about $17 per month. T-Mobile has them in-store and online, so check it out if you’re interested.
