The Pixel XL is still one of the best smartphones on the market, despite the launch of the LG G6 and Galaxy S8. One feature the two latter devices offer that is not found on the Pixel or Pixel XL is wireless charging. We’ve seen a workaround which adds this to your favorite device, but Mophie has launched another option.
Mophie is known for creating high-quality battery cases for various smartphones, and the company has just launched the Mophie Juice Pack for the Pixel XL. The battery case adds a rechargeable 2,950mAh battery to your device, but also adds Qi wireless charging capabilities.
Mophie is claiming that this battery will “extend talk time to over 50 hours” while featuring its “charge force” wireless charging. If you exhaust the battery pack and need to recharge it, but don’t have access to a wireless charger, you can plug it in via the USB Type-C charging port, and keep the power rolling.
