Back in April, Xiaomi unveiled its latest device, the Xiaomi Mi 6, but introduced two different variants. Along with the standard variant, Xiaomi also announced a ceramic edition of the device, but was forced to delay the launch due to various supply constraints surrounding the materials used.
It seems everything has been solved as the company has announced the Ceramic Edition will officially go on sale tomorrow for CNY 2,999 (~$435). As a refresher, the Mi 6 includes a 5.15-inch FHD display, with a fingerprint sensor located on the front.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC is powering the Mi 6, along with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of storage. Xiaomi has also packed a dual camera setup on the back of the device, with two 12MP sensors aiming to provide excellent shots. One of these camera sensors offers a wide-angle shot, while the other offers a telephoto lens.
Finally, Xiaomi has packed in a 3,350mAh battery into the Mi 6, which should provide more than enough power to get you through the day. It’s extremely unlikely that we’ll see the Mi 6 launch officially in the States, but let us know what you think about the ceramic edition. Personally, I’m still waiting to see what’s in store from the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.
