With the Google Assistant being opened up to developers, prepare for a whole lot of compatible apps to storm in. To help you find those apps and what you can do with them, Google is adding an app directory to the Google Assistant.
This is essentially the same list of apps you’ll currently find inside the Google Home app. The apps are listed by category, and a preview of each will give you a collection of sample commands you can issue to have it perform whatever action you need to. Apps that need accounts to be linked up will also show the necessary controls to do so on their respective listings.
You can get this new feature by enrolling into the beta version of the Google app here. Once you have it updated, look for a blue icon in the upper right corner.
