Google will soon be able to erase obstructions from photos

Is there anything worse than something obstructing the perfect photo? Sometimes there’s no getting around it. The GIF above is the perfect example. Unless you get right on the field, there’s no way to take a photo without the fence in the way. So what’s magically erasing the fence? Google Photos.

Photo editing apps like Photoshop have been able to do this for a while, but not so much in apps on your phone. The photo above is a pretty extreme example of what it can do. Unfortunately, that was the only demo they showed. We don’t know when the feature will roll out to Google Photos. When it does, it will surely be very useful.
