It’s been months since we first heard about the ASUS ZenFone AR, the second Tango device to be made available. ASUS confirmed the device at CES and we’ve heard nothing but deafening silence since.
Thankfully, Google today confirmed that the phone isn’t just a fallacy. In fact, it’ll be out this summer.
We still don’t have an exact release date, price, or know pretty much anything else about it aside from its use of a Snapdragon 821 chipset, but they did touch on the fact that it’s much smaller than the first Tango phone, the Lenovo Phab2 Pro. Size was one of the biggest knocks against that otherwise fantastic devices, so we’re glad to see not all Tango phones have to be brick houses. We’ll be on the lookout for more as the summer months approach.
