OnePlus has started to gear everyone up for the launch of its next flagship, the OnePlus 5. It began when CEO Pete Lau shared an image teasing the device, and continued on Friday when the company confirmed it would be launching this Summer.

However, what may not have been expected was a leak from Carl Pei via his Instagram Stories. When viewing Pei’s story, one user saw something that looked a bit odd and took a screenshot. What the image appears to show is a device with dual-rear cameras, which would line up with rumors that we’ve seen over the past month or so.
However, the fun didn’t stop there as the OnePlus team took to Weibo to tease the OnePlus 5 again with a new image. After already confirming the OP5 to launch this Summer, the team decided to have some more fun with this new image, while also stating “Hey Summer! Give me five!”.
We aren’t exactly sure as to when we’ll see the OnePlus 5 officially unveiled, but it could be soon if the company follows the release schedule of the OnePlus 3. Other rumors for the OP5 suggest we could see up to 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of storage while including a Quad HD display.
Let us know if you’ve hopped on the hype train yet, or if you’re still waiting to see what the device will actually launch with.
