Google Cardboard may not be the most popular way to view VR content, but it’s definitely one of the cheapest. In fact, there are many different giveaways that have taken place where you can get a free Google Cardboard.
One of the lovely users of Android Forums found that Kia (the car manufacturer) is sneakily offering a free VR headset to celebrate the release of the 2017 Kia Niro FE. You won’t have to pay for anything, you’ll just need to click the “VR” button on the Kia Niro listing and input your shipping address.
Once you select the red “VR” button, you’ll be asked whether you want to receive a free Google Cardboard headset. After you’ve selected yes, you’ll be asked to input your shipping address and then you’ll receive your free Cardboard in a few weeks.
Kia is offering this free Cardboard to help you experience the Niro FE in ways that haven’t been done before. So once you’ve received your new Cardboard, you can check out the Niro and help you decide whether to purchase one for yourself.
