Samsung fixes one of the Galaxy S8’s most annoying bugs with an app update

A Galaxy S8 bug has been terrorizing the hordes of customers who are still honeymooning with the thing since its recent launch. It’s in relation to DQA, short for Device Quality Agent, a background service related to WiFi performance. The bug would cause the app to spit out an error as often as every 30 seconds, with the only path to relief being a force close or the disabling of WiFi altogether.

Thankfully, Samsung was quick to identify the bug and fix it as they are now rolling out a small update to address it. The update arrives as an update through Samsung Galaxy Apps, so you won’t have to wait for slow carrier beuracracy to commence before you’re treated to it. Be sure to sign into Galaxy Apps if you haven’t already and take down any updates it offers to ensure you get it.
