Camera Shootout: Samsung Galaxy S8 vs LG G6 [VIDEO]
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 are the two big dogs in the smartphone world right now. Previously, we compared the two with a speed test. Today we’re comparing one of the most important features on any phone: the camera. Samsung and LG both have made great cameras in the past, but how do the newest models compare?
To make this comparison as fair as possible, I rigged up a contraption with some cardboard and hot glue to hold both devices. This allowed me to take photos from nearly the exact same perspective. It was also very important to get the settings as similar as possible, but also represent the results you would get right out of the box. Both cameras are in HDR Auto mode, using the full megapixels, and default settings.
I took photos in a few common situations. This included nature shots in broad daylight and the shade. Photos from indoors with natural lighting, artificial lighting, and low-light.
