Angry Birds Blast is a new puzzle game coming on December 22
Rovio has announced a new Angry Birds game will debut on December 22nd and if you pre-register for the game before it releases, you’ll receive $10 of in-game gold to get started. The game is a match-three puzzler called Angry Birds Blast.
The birds find themselves trapped in colorful balloons and your job is to free them by solving puzzles, popping pigs, and completing levels full of balloons waiting to be popped. You can see a small teaser of the upcoming game thanks to the .gif above, which appears to show a game that functions very similarly to Candy Crush.
Rovio did a soft launch of this game for iOS back in July, granting access in Australia, New Zealand, Finland, and Poland. From that soft launch we’ve discovered the game has over 225 levels to play and features lots of challenges for you and your friends to complete.
