Back in March of this year, Uber announced a new food delivery service by the name of UberEATS. This service promises to pick up your food from a local restaurant and deliver it to whichever location you wish. Now, it seems Uber is expanding this service to one of the most well-known restaurants around the world.
According to a report by USA Today, McDonald’s is the next big partner for UberEATS, with trial runs to begin next month. The service will be only available in Orlando, Tampa, and Miami, in the state of Florida.
There are no definitive plans to bring McDonald’s to UberEATS users across the country, but this is at least a start. There are many restaurants that already take advantage of UberEATS, but there are not many fast-food chains that are doing so. Getting McDonald’s to sign up is definitely a step in the right direction to expanding the up and coming service.
