The BLU R1 HD is again available on Amazon



BLU has been in the news recently regarding the BLU R1 HD smartphone that is available through Amazon. The device was found to be at the center of a rather large leak of information. It was found that the R1 HD included spyware which affected 120,000 devices and sent different pieces of information to servers in China.

However, it seems that all the problems have been solved after BLU issued a software update to the affected devices, and has fixed all of the devices waiting to be purchased. Amazon had initially pulled the R1 HD from its virtual shelves due to concerns surrounding the security of the device, but as of today, the R1 HD is available again on Amazon.
