Honor has been relatively quiet since the release of the Honor Pad 2 and Honor Watch S1, but it seems that Huawei’s sub-brand is preparing to reveal a new device or two at an event next week. The company has started sending press invitations for an event that is scheduled for December 16th.
The invite shows a silhouette of a device in the foreground with a planet in the background and the word “Magic” in the titling. This could be the rumored Honor Magic modular device that we saw in rumors earlier this week.
There isn’t much that is known about this device, but it is rumored to feature a new curved display, Huawei’s new battery which charges to 50% in just 5-minutes and may feature a modular design. The initial rumors for the Honor Magic suggest that Honor will be removing the camera and speakers, relying on various modular pieces to provide a different experience for users.
