ASUS has announced that it will be holding an event during CES 2017, on January 4th. The event is named “Zennovation” and this is the same event that we saw in May of last year when the company announced the ZenFone 3 lineup of devices.
A new rumor suggests that ASUS will be taking this event to unveil the first device to be powered by the new Snapdragon 835 processor. Another indication that this may be the case is due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon logo that can be found in the top left-hand corner of the invitation.
We haven’t really heard much in regards to what OEM will be the first to make it to the market with the Snapdragon 835, but it seems that ASUS is looking to take the lead. CES 2017 is less than a month away, so we don’t have to wait that long before ASUS shows off what they’ve been working on.
