Meizu has officially unveiled the M5 Note after many leaks already gave us a glimpse at what the device was going to offer. It seems that the latest rounds of leaks, which showed off the results of an Antutu Benchmark test, were spot-on.
The device features a 5.5-inch curved display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P10 processor. There are three different combinations available with the new M5 Note: 3GB of RAM with 16GB or 32GB of storage, and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage. The device can be expanded to 128GB via the built-in microSD card slot.
The M5 Note also feature a 5MP front camera, a 13MP rear-facing camera, and a rather large 4,000mAh battery. Meizu has also opted to place its fingerprint scanner on the front of the device, allowing for users to have a home button and stay secure without adding anything extra to the rear of the device.
The M5 Note also comes in 4 different color combinations (Gray, Silver, Champagne Gold, and Blue) with pricing starting at ~$130 for the 3GB/16GB variant. The 3GB/32GB variant is priced at ~$145 while the 4GB/64GB version is priced at ~$218.
There is no mention as to whether Meizu will open up sales of the device across the globe. However, the M5 Note will go on sale in China starting on December 8th with pre-orders starting today.
