A noted leaker on Weibo has posted new information about the Meizu M5 Note and the Meizu M5 Note Metal. This information comes from a leaker who has been reliable in the past, so it’s somewhat reasonable to take into account. The leak reveals the pricing and memory configurations for the two variants, supplied from what looks like an official email from Meizu.
The Meizu M5 Note features 2GB of RAM and will be priced at CNY 999, which is about $144 USD. The Meizu M5 Note Metal will feature 2.5GB of RAM and will be priced at CNY 1099, which is about $159 USD. Both of these prices revealed are for the 16GB storage variants and we know there are 32GB variants planned, but no pricing information was revealed.
As for the Meizu M5 Note Metal, it’s unclear what the Metal addon means. Will only the Metal version have a full metal body? We’ll have to wait until December 6th to find out more information.
