Lenovo is propping the ZUK brand up with a new smartphone next week, the company’s CEO has confirmed. The ZUK Edge will be the star of the show.
Rumors say it’ll be sporting Snapdragon 821 chipset, a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 13MP main camera, and an 8MP front-facing equivalent. Doesn’t sound bad for a brand meant to compete in the mid-range sector.
A new leak shows us what such a device could look like. It’ll have a metal construction with a glass-backed panel. The camera sensor on the rear is pretty profound, but likely only for show.
Otherwise, what you have here is your ordinary-looking device which seems inspired by Samsung’s design taste.
That’s not a bad thing, of course, so long as it looks nice. ZUK’s CEO Chang Cheng even shared a photo of his own.
Stay tuned for more info to arrive next week.
