You’ll want these Star Wars-themed smartphones, but you can’t have them
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is coming out in a little less than a month and to celebrate, Japanese carrier SoftBank, is giving its subscribers an awesome option. The carrier has announced two new smartphones manufactured by Sharp which are actually Star Wars themed.
There is a “Dark Side Edition” and a “Light Side Edition” as you would expect and feature a set of pretty decent specs without being flagship options.

- Qualcomm Snapdragon 820
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB Expandable Storage
- 22.6MP Rear Camera
- 3,000mAh Battery
In addition to choosing either the Light Side or the Dark Side, SoftBank and Sharp have also included a number of different options to make your device feel like it’s a part of the Star Wars story. Both devices also feature a built-in movie application which will allow you to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens as many times as you want until 2020.
Pre-orders for these devices have already started, with the devices to be launched on December 2nd. Unfortunately, it’s looking like we won’t be able to experience these awesome devices here in the States, but at least we can be in awe of the amazingness.
