AirDroid is updated to version 4.0 and receives a complete overhaul
The folks at AirDroid have recently updated its mobile application, along with a new logo. The application has been updated to version 4.0 and brings a complete overhaul to the UI.
The first change that you’ll find is that the “File Transfer” section has been moved to the bottom bar, making it easier to quickly transfer files between devices. Additionally, the other features that were previously placed in other areas, have been moved to the “Tools” section.
Another huge change is the addition of “Nearby” capabilities. This allows you to transfer files between devices without the need of the internet. As long as both devices have AirDroid installed, you can tap the “Search” button in the Nearby section and then select which files you want to transfer.
The other changes are focused on the interaction between your mobile device and your computer or the web. You can now easily log in or log out of your accounts via the web or your PC from your smartphone or tablet.
