The HTC Bolt was announced yesterday as a Sprint-exclusive in the US, bringing with it Sprint’s LTE Plus capabilities. The device also features the Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 16MP camera, and a 3,200mAh battery, all while running Android 7.0 Nougat. However, for those in Canada looking to get your hands on the device, there’s some bad news, as HTC confirmed the device would not be coming.

However, it seems that the HTC Bolt may be rebranded and released under a different name according to MobileSyrup. Last month @evleaks revealed some information regarding the upcoming HTC Bolt, as there was a possibility it would be named the HTC 10 Evo for global markets other than the US.
If this is true, there’s still a chance that HTC’s latest device could make its way to Canada. It’s unknown whether there will be any changes made to the specs or configurations, but it’s likely we’ll see an announcement in the near future.
