The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge might be getting a Nougaty surprise soon, since the Korean company has started beta tests of Nougat for the S7 Edge (and probably the S7, too) in the UK. Samsung’s focus on the Galaxy S7 series is part of a renewed effort for the company to make up lost revenue after the Galaxy Note 7 disaster.

In order to enroll in the program, users will need to download the Galaxy Beta Program app directly from the Galaxy App Store on their phones. That alone doesn’t guarantee you’ll be selected to enter, though. Samsung enrolls select devices registered in the app from the pool. While Samsung’s official announcement hasn’t been made yet, it’s expected at any time.
