The unlocked LG V20 is coming soon and don’t forget about your free headphones

Those who want to purchase the LG V20 in the US without dealing with the hassle of carriers will be able to do so very soon. LG has launched the V20 in Canada, making the device available from both VideoTron and Wind Mobile.

Through Wind Mobile, the V20 is priced at CAD$999 if you purchase the device outright. However, you can also pay CAD$25 per month for 24 months after a deposit of CAD$349. As for VideoTron, paying for the V20 outright will set you back CAD$1029.95, or you can drop CAD$249.95 if you purchase a monthly plan of at least CAD$79.95 for 24 months.

Now for those in the US looking to jump on the unlocked V20, both B&H Photo and Newegg have the devices available for pre-order today. The V20 is priced at $799.99 through both retailers, and purchasing from either will net you a free LG G Pad. However, if you purchase through Newegg, you will also receive a free portable charger.

B&H Photo has the V20 listed as “coming in early November”, while Newegg has a release date of November 11th. So, unless Newegg jumped the gun, it seems that we’ll only have to wait until next Friday to get the unlocked V20.

Now, it’s important to remember that in addition to the free LG G Pad that you are eligible to receive a free pair of B&O Play headphones. In fact, regardless of whether you are purchasing a carrier variant or the unlocked variant, you are eligible to receive these headphones.

So once you receive your new device, head over to the LG promotional page here, and input all the necessary information. Once that has been completed, you will receive the new headphones in the mail.
