Editor’s Note: There was some confusion surrounding this listing thanks to the way Lenovo organizes its page. The Phab 2 is available for purchase right now, while the Phab 2 Pro is coming on November 1st.
Lenovo’s Phab 2 series is getting a refresh in two forms, both the mid-range Phab 2 and the more high-end Phab 2 Pro. The Phab 2 is available on the Lenovo Store right now, while the Phab 2 Pro is coming on November 1st.
The phone is a gigantic 6.4″ device with 720p resolution that features decent mid-range specs for only $199. It comes in two colors including Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Gray and will ship with Marshmallow out of the box. Inside the phone, it’s powered by a MediaTek MT8735 Quad Core 1.30GHz processor and features 3GB of memory.
The Phab 2 only has 32GB of storage, but it does feature a microSD slot so you can add more yourself. Rounding all that out is a massive 4,500mAh battery so you don’t have to worry about juicing up in the middle of the day.
If any of this tickles your fancy, you’re able to buy the phone directly from Lenovo right now.
The Phab 2 Pro model is still slated for release on November 1st. The Phab 2 Pro is the world’s first Tango-enabled smartphone, letting you see augmented reality in the real world just by viewing it on the phone’s screen. It starts at $499 and features the same 6.4″ screen but in QHD resolution with 64GB of storage and 4GB of memory.
