Android Nougat update for the Moto G4 and G4 Plus is rolling out now

0

Android 7.0 for Lenovo’s Moto G4 and G4 Plus is officially rolling out. For now, the Nougat-flavored update is only making its way to Moto G4 and G4 Plus devices which were sold in India, but there’s a good chance that other markets will come online soon. And for those keeping track, Lenovo is officially the first manufacturer to release an Android 7.0 update to a phone that was released on a previous version of Android.

For those who don’t know, the Android Nougat update is packed with dozens of new features like quick switch, Doze on the Go, an updated JIT compiler, bundles notifications with direct reply, multi-window app support, new and updated emoji, display size customization, and many more.

To install the latest update on the Moto G4 or Moto G4 Plus, go to Settings > About phone > System updates > Yes, I’m and then follow the on-screen instructions to download and install Android 7.0.

How long do you think we’ll have to wait until Samsung, HTC, LG, Sony and other manufacturers release their first Android 7.0 updates?
