Honor 6X with dual-rear cameras comes at you for $148

Honor has taken the wraps off their latest affordable smartphone. The Honor 6X is a direct improvement over the 5X, with it featuring a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Kirin 655 chipset, 3GB or 4GB of RAM, 32GB of 64GB of storage, a 12MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor, 8MP front-facing camera, fingerprint sensor, 3,340 mAh battery and an aluminum body.

The dual cameras on the rear serve to give you improved depth of field capabilities to capture photos with blurred backgrounds. That’s a trend everyone is trying to match these days, so it’s nice to get it in such an affordable phone.

Speaking of which, the cheapest configuration of the Honor 6X — the one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage — will run you the equivalent of $148. The ceiling stops at a 4GB RAM and 32GB storage model for around $237.

China gets first crack at the device starting October 25th, though there’s no word if other regions will be able to get in on the fun just yet. The Honor 6X will be available in Gold, Silver, Grey, Blue and Rose Gold.
