Acer announces the new Acer Chromebook 15 and is priced at just $199

Acer has released a new Chromebook to the market, and this one should be right in the price range for just about everyone. The new Chromebook 15 doesn’t really turn any heads for any reason other than its pricing, only $199. At first glance, the new Chromebook 15 may only be good for those looking to do some light web browsing, but for under $200, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better option.

Acer has also confirmed that the new Chromebook 15 will be capable of running Android apps, but with only 2GB of RAM, you may run into some complications. This isn’t a powerhouse Chromebook like the Samsung Chromebook Pro which was leaked over the weekend, but it’ll do just fine for regular web browsing and media consumption. Also, if you’re worried about running out of space, the Chromebook 15 will include 100GB of free Google Drive storage, so that shouldn’t be a problem.

This new Chromebook is now on sale at Walmart exclusively, while you can still get other versions of the Chromebook from places such as Amazon. Currently, Walmart’s site says there isn’t much inventory left, so you’ll want to jump on this and order it now before it’s gone.
