Nokia has been hard at work on a series of Android smartphones and tablets, but this one surprised us. Leaks for a device known as the Nokia D1C appeared on benchmark sites like GFXBench and AnTuTu, but it didn’t list any screen size and the specs suggested a mid-range smartphone.

However, NokiaPowerUser has spotted a new listing of specs for the device that reveals it’s not a smartphone, but a 13.8″ tablet the company is working on. Aside from the interesting form factor, the specs are pretty mid-range but consider my interest piqued.

Nokia D1C Specs

  • 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 430 Processor
  • Adreno 505 GPU
  • 3 GB RAM
  • Android Nougat 7.0
  • 13.8-inch, 1080p display
  • 16 GB / 32 GB internal storage
  • 15 /16 MP Rear camera
  • 8 MP FFC
  • Supports SIM card

This tablet would be larger than the iPad Pro when it debuts and Android apps aren’t known for scaling well with larger form factors, so it will be interesting to see how Nokia plans on marketing this device. Would you be interested in an over-sized Android tablet at all?
