One of the reasons why Google is ditching Google Now in favor of Google Assistant is to create a more natural and human-like experience. Humor is one of the easiest ways to humanize a virtual assistant. Apple has been doing it with Siri since the beginning. Google has taken some notes from Apple and included a bunch of fun Easter eggs in Google Assistant. A couple of which pertain to the folks in Cupertino.
Open up a conversation with Google Assistant and try the following questions:
Well done. It’s interesting to note that Google is taking a friendly approach to these questions. Siri has been known to throw serious shade when asked about competitors, but Google is taking the high road. Speaking of Siri, Google Assistant has an opinion on her as well. But we’ll leave that one up to you to discover.
