Blue Coral Samsung Galaxy S7 edge spotted

When the Galaxy Note 7 first debuted, one of the colors Samsung released was Blue Coral, which proved to be popular among early adopters of the device. Before the whole erupting into flames while charging fiasco happened, it seemed to be the preferred color for those who did purchase the phone while it was available. Now that the Galaxy Note 7 is officially ended, it looks like Samsung may be bringing the color to its Galaxy S7 Edge series.

Yesterday we reported that Samsung has ramped up production of the Galaxy S7 series to help assuage the loss of profit from the failure of the Note series. Some analysts say Samsung could lose up to $17 billion in profit this year because of the issue. The re-release of a new color is likely Samsung’s attempt to breathe new life in its Galaxy S7 series, which has been available since earlier this year. In fact, we’re closer to the release of the Galaxy S8.

A leaked image spotted by SamMobile shows the rear of a Galaxy S7 Edge featuring Verizon branding, but in the Blue Coral color that Galaxy Note 7 owners loved so much. Rumor suggests the phone will launch on Verizon first before being launched elsewhere.
