The Pixel and Pixel XL will seemingly be the first devices to hit the market that are running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 processor, but there’s more coming on the horizon. Announced back in July, the ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe was announced alongside the ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Ultra.
The ZenFone 3 lineup features huge displays, fingerprint sensors, great specs, and crazy prices. However, back when the ZenFone 3 Deluxe was originally announced, we were a bit unsure as to what this device would be priced at specifically. Now, ASUS has confirmed that the ZenFone 3 will be arriving in the US sometime in November and will be priced at $799.
ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe Specs:
- 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Processor
- 6GB RAM
- 64GB/128GB/256GB storage expandable with MicroSD card support up to 128GB
- 23MP rear-facing camera
- 8MP front-facing camera
- 3,000mAH battery
- USB Type-C charging port with Quick Charge 3.0
Some of you may immediately be turned off by the pricing, as it is even more than the base model Pixel XL, but when you step back and look into what you’re getting, you may be surprised. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe features 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of expandable storage, while the XL is “limited” to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Regardless, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe is shaping up to be an excellent option even for those who are a bit skeptical of using the ASUS ZenUI skin overlay.
In addition to the news regarding the US release of the ZenFone 3 Deluxe, ASUS has also confirmed pricing and availability for the ZenWatch 3 and the ZenPad 3S 10 tablet. The ZenWatch 3 will be priced at $229 while the ZenPad 3S 10 will be priced at $299, with both devices becoming available in early November.
