As we quickly approach Google’s big Oct. 4th event in San Francisco, new information about what Google could have in store has been leaking out almost every single day now. We already showed how big the rumored Google Pixel and Pixel XL could end up being when sized up against popular smartphones like the Nexus 6P or Galaxy S7 Edge, but that was based on screen size.
Today, we have what could be solid dimensions for the Pixel XL along with a full, 360-degree 3D render showing off every single corner of the device. The leak comes to us from Steve Hemmerstoffer — also known as @Onleaks — who posted the render and dimensions onto his Twitter account.
According to Hemmerstoffer, the dimensions for the Pixel XL are a little bit smaller than we’d expect for a device carrying “extra large” in its name, only a hair larger than the Galaxy Note 7. Take a look for yourself:
Google Pixel XL 154.72 x 75.74 x 7.3mm (bottom) / 8.5mm (top)
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm
Apple iPhone 7 Plus 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3mm
Nexus 6P 159.3 x 77.8 x 7.3mm
Of course, we’ll learn more as the event nears. So far it’s looking like Google could have a wide range of products to unveil at the event, with devices like the Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Google Home, Chromecast Ultra, Nexus 7P, and possibly more to show off come October 4th. Our bodies are ready.
