With leaked renders which show the front of the Pixel and Pixel XL, we thought you might be interested in seeing how the two upcoming phones size up when compared to a handful of the most popular Android devices. Based on the assumption that the Pixel has a 5-inch display and the Pixel XL has a 5.5-inch display, we resized the images of the two phones and lined them up with the LG V20, the two Nexus devices from last year, Samsung’s two Galaxy S7 smartphones and the HTC 10.
Since we’re working with leaked images, there’s a good chance that the sizes of the Pixel and Pixel XL will be slightly different once they are officially unveiled on October 4th.
Since the Pixel’s 5-inch display is the smallest in the lineup, it’s not surprising that it’s the smallest of the eight devices. The phone should be a hair shorter than the Galaxy S7. Even though the Pixel XL should have the same screen size at the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, Google’s new phone looks like it will be noticeably taller than Samsung’s. The good news (if you’re among those who doesn’t like massive phones) is that the Pixel XL will be shorter than last year’s Nexus 6P.
We know that most of you are not thrilled about the design of the two phones, but do you think the sizes of the Pixel and Pixel XL is more appealing than Google’s Nexus devices from 2015?
