WhatsApp now lets you invite others with public group links

0

WhatsApp Messenger is one of the most popular messaging applications around the world due to its ease of use, and cross-platform capabilities. However, there are still a few key features missing from the app which users are hoping to receive sooner rather than later. The latest update to the WhatsApp beta application adds one of the most requested features.

The WhatsApp beta application has been updated to version 2.16.281 and has finally added the ability to invite others to group chats. The ability to create groups has been around since June, but the developers have just added the ability to invite members either by a public link or an NFC barcode.

The update is rolling out to users running the WhatsApp beta today, and if you want to opt-in to get these features, hit the link below.
