Earlier this year ABC News teamed up with Facebook to broadcast live coverage of the 2016 Democratic and Republican conventions and the results were so good, they’ll be doing the same for the upcoming presidential debates. The streams for the Democratic and Republican conventions garnered more than 28 million views.

According to the report from Variety, the stream of the presidential debates won’t contain any advertising, as ABC News is experimenting with Facebook Live to determine how its viewers engage with the platform and the content.

The report says that two hours before each debate, ABC News contributors Matthew Dowd and LZ Granderson will kick off the coverage on Facebook Live with a new series called Strait Talk, that begins at 7pm EST on September 26th. That show will lead into anchored coverage for the debates, which are scheduled to run from 9pm EST to 10:30 EST.
