LG V20 rumored to launch on October 21st

0

Earlier today VentureBeat revealed it had documentation that confirmed Samsung Galaxy Note 7 sales won’t resume in the US until October 21st, more than a month after the phone was recalled. Noted leaker Evan Blass broke the news on the site, but he also hinted at something for LG fans, too.

On Twitter, Blass mentioned that the October 21st release date is the rumored date for the LG V20 to launch in the United States as well.

LG made no announcement about the release date at its recent V20 event so right now the information is just a rumor, but it would make sense for the phone to be released then. If so, it’ll have competition from the relaunched Galaxy Note 7.

The V20 will be the first device to launch with Android 7.0 Nougat, featuring a 5.7″ 2560 x 1440 display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage that can be expanded with a microSD. The phone also features two rear cameras including a 16MP and an 8MP, and a 5MP front-facing shooter. It also supports USB Type-C and comes with a 3,200mAh battery.

Google might not allow Samsung to change the Galaxy Note 7’s battery indicator, but that’s alright
