It seems that Google Allo may be coming to our devices later this week

Yesterday, we reported that the co-lead of development for Google Allo had given those impatiently awaiting the release a bit of a teaser. There wasn’t much to go off of other than “around the world” but many of us stuck to the idea that Google would be releasing the app alongside the new Pixel devices.

A new tweet from @evleaks suggests that Google will be releasing Allo later this week. When Allo was announced at Google I/O 2016, it was presented with the expectations that we would see the app before Summer was over. Going by the last day of Summer, that would make the release this Wednesday, September 21st.

However, there’s also a possibility that Google releases Allo on Tuesday as the company is known for releasing updates and new applications on Tuesdays in the past. We’ll be waiting patiently to see what’s going on, but I won’t be holding my breath.
