The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may have 2 variants with 6GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 821

Xiaomi is preparing the release of some new devices that are expected to be released sometime this year. The Mi 5s was leaked earlier today, and now we are seeing information and images regarding the new Xiaomi Mi Note 2.

According to the post on Weibo, Xiaomi will be releasing two versions of the Mi Note 2 with both devices featuring a 5.7-inch pressure sensitive (3D Touch) display, dual-16MP cameras, and a 4,000mAh battery. The premium version of the Note 2 will be powered by 6GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 821 processor, while the regular version will include 4GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 810 processor.

Both devices are expected to include MIUI 8 which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat and may be released as soon as September 14th according to Android Authority. As for the colors, the images above show three different options with either White, Black, or Pearl.
