Deezer now lets you play short music clips within your Twitter timeline

Deezer is one of the largest streaming music services in the world, outside of the United States. The company released its application in the US back in July, buy has just announced a new partnership with Twitter to make it easier to listen to great songs without switching between apps.

Deezer Music Card on Twitter

Starting today, users will be able to view different songs directly within their Twitter timelines. Whenever you come across a new song, you’ll be able to play a 20-second preview, then can open the song within the Deezer app if you want to keep listening.

We’re excited to be teaming up with Twitter to offer fans the ability to listen to music through the integration of Audio Cards on the platform. Given that music and social media remain an increasingly important part of people’s lives, it’s important that we continue to create opportunities where they can access both their favorite tracks and new music.

There is no update to download, all you need to do is open up your Twitter app and see if you can find any of these cards in your timeline. If you want to check out Deezer, they are offering a 30-day free trial of Deezer Premium+ and then you will be charged $9.99/month if you end up being a fan.

Even though Deezer isn’t new to the music streaming game, there is definitely some work to be done if they want to catch up on the popularity of either Spotify or Google Play Music for US users.
