Motorola takes a jab at Samsung for the Note 7’s exploding battery
It was only a matter of time before the marketing departments at various phone manufacturers started teasing Samsung. We expected Apple to throw some punches yesterday, but they were unusually quiet about the competition. Thankfully, Motorola has stepped up to the plate with a diss track.
Uh, ouch? So it’s not the best jab in the world, but it is a jab nonetheless. We have one big problem with Motorola’s message here: it’s 100% not true. Samsung is taking the safety of their customers very seriously. No one forced Samsung to issue a global recall. This is something they did voluntarily. Samsung is going to lose a lot of money on this recall, but they’re doing it because of safety concerns. They could have just as easily ignored the problem altogether.
Motorola, we appreciate the effort, but better luck next time.
