The Nexus 7P tablet Huawei is planning to make has been making some serious rounds in the rumor mill lately. One leakster gave us the expectations for RAM already: 4GB.
Well, today we get a lot more thanks to German outlet HuaweiBlog.de. Here’s the quick rundown of what’s said to be coming with the first 7-inch Nexus tablet since 2013’s Nexus 7:
With such an impressive tale of the tape, we wouldn’t blame Google for having to break the tradition of introducing their 7-inch tablets under that sweet $300 price tag. We’re keeping our fingers crossed they won’t, of course, but we’re prepared either way.
We still have yet to see any tangible evidence of this thing’s existence, but we’re guessing Huawei will use some of the tricks they’ve learned in making both phones and the MediaPad series over the past couple of years.
Is this a preview of what’s to come?
If we’re to expect more along those lines, we could be looking at the first tablet in the 7-inch line to feature an all-metal body. The Pixel C was the first Google-commissioned tablet to take that honor, but bringing it to a more cost-efficient device would be a pretty big deal.
That’s all speculation, of course, so don’t bet any of your pennies on it. We’re hoping an announcement won’t take long so we can take all of the guessing work out of it.
