In case you don’t know, LG is setting up for a big event in San Francisco later this evening. The company has already confirmed that they’re launching the LG V20 there, though they haven’t been as forthcoming about much else.
A rough idea of what to expect tonight.
Thankfully we won’t have to wait too long, and if you’re hungry for info now, then that’s on tap, too. Courtesy of Weibo leaksters via Android Pure, here’s a pretty telling list of what to expect from the LG V20’s internals:
- 5.7-inch 2560 x 1440 display
- Snapdragon 820 chipset
- 4GB of RAM
- dual-rear 16-megapixel cameras
- Fingerprint sensor
- 4,000mAh battery
Not too surprising of a list considering LG wants this thing to be the hottest launch of this half of the year. Beyond those specs, we know LG is keen on modularity these days, so perhaps that functionality will extend to the V20.
What we know for sure is that the device will launch with Android 7.0 Nougat, and that it’ll have the world’s first 32-bit Quad DAC chip for improved audio performance. With LG’s wish of having the best multimedia phone on the market, we’re sure it won’t disappoint in all the areas it needs to achieve that title.
