Hands-on: the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus is a multimedia-lover’s dream [VIDEO]

We caught up with Lenovo at IFA to go hands-on with their own-branded tablet, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus. As we figured out early on when simply looking at the thing, the tablet was born for the consumption of entertainment.

The biggest evidence of that is the inclusion of 4 front-facing JBL-powered speaker units with Dolby Atmos technology, which should mean the need to pair it with headphones when you’re enjoying it in private scenarios (we’d hope you aren’t blasting movies or music on the plane) is next to nonexistent. You can also look to the device’s built-in adjustable kickstand for evidence of its purpose.

Beneath the surface is an ordinary tablet otherwise:

When you need it for work, use the swivel stand to prop it onto a desktop for a more comfortable typing experience. And even if you don’t want to use the device’s full potential by making it a glorified digital photo frame or wall calendar (or simply a recipe reference while you’re cooking) the kickstand has a hole on it to hang on a wall. The device is available this October, but if you still need a closer look ahead of then, be sure to check it out in our hands-on video and photos up above.
