Huawei isn’t missing out on the IFA 2016 fun. Earlier today, Huawei announced a couple of new phones, a Windows convertible tablet, and a more traditional Android tablet. The Android tablet is called the MediaPad M3. It may sound like just another generic Huawei device (and it kinda is), but this tablet has some impressive features.
As the name implies, this is a device focused on media consumption. It has an 8.4-inch display with 2560×1600 resolution. It also has Harman Kardon-certified stereo speakers and high-res audio support. Your media will look great and sound great. Powering the device is a Kirin 950 processor and 4GB of RAM. Huawei devices with these specs have been blazing fast in the past.
The MediaPad M3 also has a huge 5,100 mAh battery and will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the EMUI skin. That last bit might be the worst part of this tablet. If you can stand Huawei’s skin, the MediaPad M3 will be available in late September starting at €349.
