HTC tells everyone to “Be Edgier” and prepare for an announcement on September 20

With all the announcements and device unveilings from IFA 2016, there is one company that is notably missing from all the excitement. Not to be outdone, HTC has posted a teaser video on Twitter for an announcement that will occur on September 20th and tells everyone to “Be Edgier”.

There have been a lot of HTC rumors recently, including the HTC Desire 10 Pro/Lifestyle and the upcoming Nexus devices. It’s safe to assume this impending announcement has nothing to do with Nexus devices, which leaves us with the HTC Desire 10 lineup of devices.

The Desire 10 Pro is expected to include a 5.1-inch display while being powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. The Desire 10 Lifestyle is expected to be more of a mid-range device powered by the Snapdragon 400 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage.

We’ll wait and see what HTC has up its sleeve, but here’s to hoping they knock it out of the park on September 20th since they’re missing out on all the IFA fun.
