Earlier today, Xiaomi unveiled its latest device to grace the Redmi Note lineup with the Redmi Note 4. The device offers a premium design, with almost flagship specs, for an absolutely bonkers price.
The Redmi Note 4 follows up the design and build of its predecessor, the Redmi Note 3, with its full-metal unibody design and chamfered edges. The device also features an impressive spec-sheet that is sure to turn some heads, especially after you learn how much it’s going to cost.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Specs:
It’s not probable that Xiaomi will directly sell the Redmi Note 4, but there will be outlets such as GearBest and others that will ship the devices to the States. According to Android Authority, there are also plans for an international variant, but pricing and availability for those versions have yet to be released.
As for pricing and configurations, the 2GB/16GB variant of the Redmi Note 4 will cost RMB 899 ($135), with the 3GB/64GB variant priced at RMB 1199 ($180). For under $200, with 3GB RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 4,100mAh battery, you would be foolish not to give this device a look-see. Xiaomi will begin selling the Redmi Note 4 in three color variations (Silver, Gold, and Dark Grey) starting on August 26th in China and via Xiaomi’s own website.
With a device priced so competitively, would you consider the Redmi Note 4 if it became readily available on this side of the pond? I know I would, even if it were just for a backup device to tinker around with.
