Android Pay has a growing list of banks that support the tap-to-pay service. Despite adding 19 new banks and credit unions back in July, Chase was once again one of the few major financial institutions shunning the service for reasons.
If you’re a Chase customer anxiously waiting for the chance to use Android Pay, September 7th can’t come soon enough. That’s the day the Chase will reportedly flip the switch and allow Android Pay users to finally add their credit and check cards to Google’s mobile payments service. This is according to a leaked internal doc being sent to Chase employees, further detailing all the ins and outs of Android Pay.
We’ve known for awhile now Chase’s plans to eventually support Android Pay, they’ve been pretty straight forward about it arriving later this year, but never provided any exact timing. For a full list of Android Pay supported banks, check out Google’s official site here.
