Sony’s history of IFA announcements will continue in 2016 as the company has just announced an event that will take place just before the show. A September 1st date has been stamped as the day Sony will reveal their second-half wares for the year.
We don’t know what, exactly, Sony has in store for us, however this interesting Xperia device has been popping up in rumors lately. It’s looking like a new flagship that’s sporting a slightly tweaked design and a USB-C port.
Sony could also have more details on some of the “futuristic” accessories they revealed alongside the Xperia X. They were concepts then, and while we’re not totally sure they’ve evolved into something more by now we’ll be on the lookout regardless. Anything else is a pure surprise, so we’ll be looking on with a great deal of interest.
