3D render video shows what HTC’s Nexus Marlin, Nexus Sailfish could look like

We’re still a month or two away from getting our official first look at the upcoming Nexus Marlin and Nexus Sailfish from HTC, but Techconfigurations has created a 3D render (based on leaked images) of the devices. While the leaked images that we’ve seen so far have shown off the front and back of the two phones, it’s speculated that both devices will feature the same basic design elements. The 3D render does take some creative liberties since there are not images which show off the edges of the phones.

The 3D render does take some creative liberties since there are not images which show off the edges of the phones. The most notable liberties taken are the speaker placement on both sides of the micro UBS Type-C port on the bottom and a slight curve on the back of the phone which shows that the middle of the phone is slightly thicker than its edges. As far as we know, there haven’t been any leaks to support these details.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, are you planning on buying the Nexus Marlin or Nexus Sailfish? If you could tweak the design a bit, what would you change?
