Android Pay now supports 19 new banks and credit unions, did yours make the cut?

There are few things in this world more convenient (or quicker) than using the smartphone in your hand to make purchases. Right now, the only thing holding back mobile payment services Android Pay are terminals where they’re accepted, and the banks that are officially supported. Adding to Android Pay’s ever growing list of supported banks and credit unions are now the following:

• 1st Advantage FCU
• ACU of Texas
• Alpine Credit Union
• Alternatives federal credit union
• Bank of the Ozarks
• Cambridge Savings Bank
• Crane CU
• Fairfax County FCU
• First Community Bank
• First Sentry Bank
• First Tech Federal Credit Union
• Heritage Federal Credit Union
• IH Mississippi
• Mercantile Bank of Michigan
• Mill City Credit Union
• ORNL
• Railroad & Industrial FCU
• Union State Bank of Fargo
• Valley Federal Credit Union

Notably absent from the list is Chase who supports rival services Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. Word on the street is Chase will finally bring Android Pay support this year, but has yet to confirm any sort of timing.
